Details of disruption due to weather conditions are shown below. Changes to services due to roadworks and road closures can be viewed on the Service Disruption page.
Status update: All services are operating as normal, however we would advise passengers to visit the operators websites in advance of travel. The Park & Ride building is no longer available to bus passengers. The site remains open during operational hours and the number 2 service continues operate. Gritting of Bedford Borough roads
You can see a plan of the roads which are gritted in Bedford Borough, on the Winter Gritting Plan . You can also find out more about winter gritting on the gritting your roads section or the gritting FAQs blog.
We have reciprocal arrangements in place with neighbouring Councils to ensure that we all make best use of our gritting vehicles. Therefore, some of our gritters cross into neighbouring administrative areas, and some of our roads will be covered by our neighbours gritters.
